Hate-Motivated Violence

A video posted online shows a woman repeatedly punching a Muslim woman in a Moncton parking lot while a man shouted at the victim, reportedly telling her to 'go back to her country,' in front of her seven-year-old son. The victim suffered a concussion, bloody nose, cuts and facial swelling; RCMP are investigating whether hate was a factor and say they have identified those involved, with no arrests reported.
